Horticulture Workshops |
Horticulture is a very important topic for us. At each club meeting, we have the opportunity to learn more and ask questions. Our Yearbook contains timely tips on horticulture each month. Several horticulture workshops have been given in the past and each year, we receive “Project Bulbs” to plant. It is interesting to compare how they do in our individual gardens. Nancy Bruhns has hosted a number of workshops at her home, including a Terrarium Workshop and more recently a Trough Workshop presented by Liana Bauerie and Gerri Eunson, Penn State Master Gardeners of Delaware County. |

Meeting Workshops |
Each year, several of our monthly meetings are devoted to workshops. In 2009, we made fall door swags and holiday ornaments using natural local materials. At our May meeting, Nancy Morris led a workshop to make beautiful floral topiaries. |

Several times a year, workshops are given by members to make decorations for our homes. On Valentines' Day, Lee Carson and Nancy Morris gave a workshop to make beautiful Victorian Cones. |

Greens Sale Workshops |
In December, workshops are held to make the greens that are sold to members, friends and neighbors. These items are 20” boxwood wreaths, 12” boxwood trees, mailbox huggies, and centerpieces of mixed greens with a red candle. |
